HiGrade DPI - A modern tool for placer gold exploration

HiGrade DPI is a novel analysis tool for placer gold that relies on modern image processing to identify gold particles in a high resolution image. Gold particle count, size and shape are instantly presented in a report. Based on that, the calibrated tool calculates the gold content of the sample in g/t or g/m3

"HiGrade DPI has provided us fast and repeatable results for our Northwestern Australia alluvial exploration program"

Applications

Drilling

Bulk Sampling

Bulk Sampling

Analyze samples in the field or laboratory. Applicable for pits, trenches, auger or percussion drill samples.

Image analysis based, non-destructive placer gold analysis was introduced by late Prof. Hermann Wotruba, a globally recognized expert in mineral processing, at RWTH Aachen University. The method was applied by Dr. Andreas Schiffers while evaluating means of gold recovery as a by-product from sand/gravel operations. HiGrade Technik commercialized DPI with robust hardware and fully integrated scanning, image processing and reporting software.
